Hi! My name is Alyson and I want to be your Day of Wedding Coordinator! Here is a little about me and my experience. I graduated from the University of Michigan-Dearborn in 2008 majoring in Psychology and Communications. The focus of my communications degree was public relations, with an emphasis in event planning. I spent a year interning and later working at the fabulous Emerald City Designs. While working as an intern there I fell deeply in love with the magic of event planning. I worked as an assistant event coordinator on a number of high end weddings and events, with the most memorable being the annual Metro Detroit Heart Ball for the American Heart Association.

Since 2008 I have been working as an independent event coordinator for friends and family. I have experience planning weddings and events of many different faiths and cultures, including; Latter Day Saints, Indian, Arabic, Catholic masses as well as non denominational. In 2010 I moved to Utah and focused on my new job as an executive assistant for a company in Utah Valley. While there I was able to continue to use my event planning skills planning corporate and private events and parties. It wasn't until 2011 when it was time for my own wedding that I realized there was a need for my expertise. I was married on December 30, 2011 to my wonderful, sweet husband Sam. While finally getting to plan my own wedding, I realized that Utah Valley needs an affordable event planner.

It has been my experience that most of us enjoy planning our own weddings, and have the family members near by to help us too! However, on the day of your wedding you want your family to be family, not event staff. By you planning your own wedding, I am able to keep my costs down and offer you affordable Day-of Wedding Coordinating services! I am excited to talk to you and get to know you and the details of your wedding!
